Whilst on a hilarious (it was meant to be serious, but our new account manager is accidentally a riot with his blunt one liners and deadpan delivery) client call this week, I sat browsing Facebook in a bid not to laugh into the intercom as we discussed such thrilling topics as audience data. Partly because I didn’t want the client to think I’d gone doolally, partly to appear as though this was all being taken as seriously as the client expected it to be. (For the record I’m not the only one that is amused by these calls – the two others in the room besides the AM also look as though on the verge whenever a sentence is spoken.)

Anywho, I was browsing Facebook, as reported, when I came across a diet plan once published in Vogue. It was as follows:

WINE AND EGGS / 3 DAYS / LOSS:5LBS (2.5K) 
BREAKFAST: 1 egg, hard-boiled. 1 glass white wine (dry, preferably Chablis). Black coffee

LUNCH: 2 eggs, hard boiled is best, but poached if necessary. 2 glasses white wine. Black coffee

DINNER: 5oz (150g) steak, grilled with black pepper, lemon juice. Remainder of white wine (one bottle allowed per day). Black coffee

Now, I have no reason for sharing this other than to say that women that read Vogue in the 70’s and took their word as gospel must have a) been drunk almost all of the time and b) smelled AWFUL. Also to say that while my pre-wedding diet hasn’t been this bad, it’s pretty much fallen on it’s bum and refused to get up again.

Pizza and cake for tea last night. Lol.
